International Basket Brigade
The New England Veterans Chamber of Commerce (NEVCC) has created a special book for veterans “Thank you for your service, notes to a Veteran”. On December 31, 2020 and January 1, 2021, we gave out 100 of these books inside inspirational gift bags to veterans throughout New England as part of our participating in the International Basket Brigade.
This program was so well received, we will do it again for December 31, 2021! We will be writing another special book and are looking for your messages to share with veterans who could use some inspiration and support to start the year off right!

How can the general public support the campaign and veterans?
Visit veteran-owned businesses! Use our database to find a veteran-owned business near you. If you can’t find one, email us and we will help you! We have over 140,000 veteran-owned businesses in New England.
Mentor a business, most veteran-owned businesses are small businesses and they appreciate advice and assistance.
Host an event or workshop for veteran-owned businesses! We are always looking for networking opportunities for our veterans and business owners.
Share posts about veteran-owned businesses on social media. Follow up on social media and help us spread the word about resources and veteran and military-owned businesses. We will be using the #BuyVOBNE or #BuyveteranNE
